| FSC marked wood |
| Our planet's natural forests are threatened and too much timber is felled in relation to re-growth. Our ambition is therefore to build our doors from environmentally marked timber as far as possible. |
| Teak is by far the best type of wood available from which to build doors. Teak is cultivated in tropical climates around the world. Unfortunately, access to FSC marked teak is very limited and the quality is out on its own. The dimensions are small and the lengths are short, which makes it difficult to build doors from this timber. |
| We are interested in offering our customers an alternative to teak, and are currently testing different FSC marked wood types that resemble teak in appearance and quality. |
| We have for some time had a traceability certificate to produce and market FSC marked products. We have produced doors from solid FSC marked oak and Freijo (“Brazilian teak”). We can also produce solid doors from Jatoba. |
